The Oct 3 MrBeast video is titled Eat Everything In A Grocery Store Win $1,000,000: MrBeast will say million/thousand/hundred (prize amounts, countdowns, item counts) well over 10 times. The same term resolved YES at 10+ in 5 of the last 6 main-video mention events (Aug 8, Jul 25, Jun 27, May 16, May 2; NO May 30). A $1M-prize format is the best case for it. P ~0.93 vs ask 0.81 + fee.
Same view as W-20260929-200004-c54f (correlated; MrBeast bet total $72): the Oct 3 $1M grocery-store video is priced off his old peak. Week-1 ladder puts ~0.57 on 90M+ and ~0.29 on 100M+, but the last four main videos did 75-76M, 75.5-76M, 83-84M and 70M+ (~72M) in week 1 (gamma series mrbeast-views-day-1). 100M+ needs ~20% above the best summer video. P(100M+) ~0.12.
Same view as W-20260929-200004-c54f (one bet): the $1M grocery-store MrBeast video lands near his summer day-1 range (25-40M), not the 40M+ the fresh ladder centres on. 30-35M is where the Sep 19 video landed and sits one bracket under my ~37M centre; my P ~0.24 vs ask 0.164 + fee. Small asymmetric lot (5x payoff).
The next MrBeast main-channel video (announced by MrBeast on X: Eat Everything In A Grocery Store Win $1,000,000, live Saturday Oct 3, a mini movie) is priced as if his day-1 were still the 2024-25 50M+ norm: book puts ~0.30 on 45M+ and ~0.55 on 40M+. The same Polymarket series resolved day-1 25-30M (Aug 3 event), 25-30M (Aug 23 event, a challenge video that later reached 110M+), 35-40M (Sep 5 event, harshest places) and 30-35M (Sep 19 charity video, verified via 0.999 trades). Even strong challenge formats have done 25-40M on day 1 this summer. The $1M headline and mini-movie framing lift the centre to ~37M, but 45M+ needs a video ~20% above anything in the last 2 months.
The Encore week resolves on the HITS Top 50 Activity figure. HDD itself (the resolution source) previewed it Monday Sep 28 at "some 150k", and the Billboard-side projection was cut from Nora 178K to 150K the same day. So both centre on the line, yet YES trades 0.91. No physical Encore is announced: this is a streaming-plus-$9.99-digital week, front-loaded by four new tracks. Past HDD preview-to-final drift: streaming-heavy albums 0 to +4% (Rodrigo, Langley), a streaming-heavy new release -10% (Ken Carson), and physical-push weeks +31% (Madonna). Upside risk is a surprise signed/physical variant midweek (HDD teased "stay tuned"). My P(final >= 150k) ~0.70, so NO is worth ~0.30 vs ~0.107 paid.
Brazil R1 turnout (votes cast / eligible, TSE comparecimento) falls below 76% only if abstention jumps 3+ points in one cycle. Presidential R1 abstention: 2014 19.4%, 2018 20.3%, 2022 20.95% (record); even the 2020 pandemic municipal was 23.2% and 2024 municipal 21.7%. Trend and Jairo Nicolau point to ~22% (turnout ~78). The thin book carries a 9-20c YES on <76% from the record-abstention headlines.
Leila do Volei finishes 2nd in the DF Senate race (2 seats, Oct 4). Four of five late-Sep polls have Leila ahead of or tied with Bia Kicis on combined votes (Datafolha Sep 22-24 19-15, Real Time Sep 24-28 18-18, Opiniao 17.6-15.0; only Igape has Kicis +1.9). The book prices Kicis at 0.75 on the 2022 DF miss (Damares +18 vs tied polls), but that miss was an intra-right consolidation; against a centre-left incumbent celebrity the relevant bias is the ~3-5 pt shy-Bolsonaro shift, which leaves Leila a ~28% shot, not 15%.
No new senior US-Iran meeting happens by Sep 30 23:59 ET. Araghchi met Qatari mediators in NY Monday (relay, no US official placed in the city) and flew back to Tehran; Iran awaits a written US reply. A qualifying round needs both senior sides in one city within ~29h. Crowd 0.08 YES still carries this-week-talks hope; time decay favours NO.
Someone proposed YES early on the Sep 30 Hormuz fees market and it was disputed; YES spiked to 0.32 and sits at 0.20-0.24. The fee regime (PGSA tolls, blacklist) is the same one that existed through Aug 31, when the sibling resolved NO, and the rules require the fee to be mandatory in practice, which it is not (13M bpd flowing via escorted dark transits, 77+ blacklisted ships undeterred). Nothing new since Sep 1. The crowd is pricing dispute noise, not facts.
Elon Sep 28-30 window is 23 with 22h left and he has posted 2 times in 16h (0 posts 02:00-15:00 UTC, 1 at the WH lunch hour, 1 at 16:00). <40 needs <=16 more by Sep 30 16:00 UTC. Last night he posted 21 in 16:00-02:00 UTC; if tonight repeats, this loses, but the 16h silence is the longest this month (Sep daily min 11) and daily counts autocorrelate. P ~0.32 vs 0.265. Main purpose: hedge the $50 Sep monthly 840-879 YES, which loses in the same prolonged-silence scenario.
Sep 30 rename-AI YES fell 0.73 -> 0.57 between 17:10 and 17:45 UTC on churn with no news (comments: nothing official, 50/50). Nothing changed: Factbase still lists 5:00 PM ET The President signs Executive Orders, and at Mellon Trump said he will sign a powerful order on AI changing the name to Super Intelligence in government documents, which is the directive language the rules need. P(signed by Sep 30 23:59 ET) ~0.85 x P(contains an adoption directive, not incidental use) ~0.85 = ~0.72 vs 0.57 ask. Resolves within ~30h.
Same proviso as my Sep 30 NO: the paused Pro 20x plan only counts if called Pro 20x or confirmed the same plan, and a rename only passes provided it remains OpenAI highest-usage Pro tier. OpenAI help center (17:04 UTC) says the reopened plan is Pro 200 with a lower usage allowance and that Pro 500 offers the highest included usage. Oct 31 YES still bid 0.67+ because the crowd reads the headline (Pro 200 is back). For YES by Oct 31 OpenAI would have to re-restructure so the $200 plan is top usage again, or the resolver ignores the proviso. P(YES) ~0.2. NO at ~0.37 avg is ~40c edge. Held >30 days only as a catalyst trade: the Sep 30 resolution (or a clarification) should reprice it within days; planned exit then.
The market needs the paused Pro 20x plan to reopen to new US users by Sep 30, either called Pro 20x or confirmed the same plan; a rename only passes provided it remains OpenAI highest-usage Pro tier. At DevDay (17:05-17:10 UTC) OpenAI renamed it Pro 200, cut new-subscriber usage, and launched Pro 500, and its own help center (About ChatGPT Pro tiers, updated 17:04) says Pro 500 offers the highest included usage of the three plans. The proviso fails on OpenAI own words. The book (YES bid 0.28-0.38) still prices the headline reading that Pro 200 reopened. My P(YES) ~0.12 (resolver leniency on the title), so NO at ~0.68 avg is ~18c of edge resolving in about a day.
Elon September count is 817 at 16:55 UTC Sep 29 with 35h to the Oct 1 04:00 UTC close; 880-919 needs +63 or more, i.e. ~43/day. September daily counts (28 days, mean ~29, max 45) contain no 1.5-day stretch of 63+ (max ~62). The crowd prices 880-919 at 0.17-0.19, anchored on xtracker pace plus burst fear on DevDay/OpenAI news. My P(880-919) ~0.07, so NO at 0.83 is ~10c edge resolving in 1.5 days.
Elon September count is 817 at 16:25 UTC Sep 29 with 35.5h left (ends Oct 1 04:00 UTC); 840-879 needs +23 to +62. September 16:00-aligned daily counts (mean ~28, range 11-49) give 1.5-day sums below 23 in ~2/27 windows and 63+ in ~1/27, so P(840-879) ~0.85. The book asks 0.68, pricing more tail risk than September shows; the quiet regime this week (22-26/day) centres the final ~850-855.
Three independent Minas Gerais first-round polls put Lula ahead of Flavio by 4-5.4 points (Real Time Big Data Sep 28: 41-37, valid 43-39; Quaest Sep 19-22: 35-30; AtlasIntel Sep 23: 48.8-43.4). Atlas was accurate in MG in 2022 and has MG ~3 pts more pro-Lula than its national number, which has since widened to +3.1. The state book is a stale maker ladder ($757/day) still at 0.61, pricing roughly a 1-point lead. Shading the mean to +3.5 for 2022-style traditional-pollster overstatement, sd 4.5: P(Lula 1st in MG) ~0.75.
The Jumper Legion sale was front-loaded: the >10M sibling priced 0.997 by 13:50 UTC (about 50 min after the 13:00 open), and the total is only $11.53M at 16:34 UTC, so the last 2h45m added ~$1.5M (~0.55M/h), with a 4-minute live sample at ~0.65M/h. Allocation is merit-based, not first-come. A decaying rate (1/t fit) projects ~17-19M by the Oct 2 13:00 close; a slow 1/sqrt(t) decay ~27M. The book prices >20M at 0.97+, treating it as done. My P(final <=20M) ~0.30, so NO at ~0.05 is a 20x payoff on a live, sampleable number resolving within 3 days.
Goias is Caiado home state (ex-governor; his running mate Daniel Vilela leads the governor race 42% per Quaest Sep 24, his wife Gracinha leads the Senate race). The only September first-round poll of Goias (Real Time Big Data, Sep 17-21, n=1600, GO-04652/2026) has Caiado 31, Flavio 30, Lula 26. AtlasIntel (online, Aug 27-Sep 1) had Flavio 38.2, Lula 26.9, Caiado 19.2, and Atlas runs 2-3 pts low on Caiado nationally vs traditional pollsters. Average gap ~9 for Flavio with state-poll error of 5-7 pts; minus a late useful-vote squeeze (Alckmin SP 2018). My P(Caiado most votes in GO) ~0.12. The book prices 0.04-0.05 with $40 24h volume: a stale maker ladder nobody is trading.
Polymarket prices Tesla Q3 deliveries at 475-500k 0.72 and 450-475k only 0.19 while the Street median is ~458k (Visible Alpha 449-454k, Bloomberg 466k) and the best free tracker (Troy, sd ~15-17k, recent misses mostly low vs actual) sits somewhere 478-487k. With centre 478-487 and sd 16k, P(450-475) is 0.22-0.38; blended ~0.30 vs 0.19 ask. Same view as my 475-500 NO (the crowd is overconfident in one 25k bucket), expressed on the most likely alternative bucket; together they are one Tesla bet of ~$36.
Miami (MIA, NOAA hourly) max today resolves 82-83F. The running max is already 82F (27.8C at 09:53 ET), then a thunderstorm (+TSRA 10:13-10:53 ET) cooled the airport to 74F, dew point 72F, BKN020CB. To leave the bucket MIA needs a new reading of 84F+ (28.9C) this afternoon: a 10F recovery while NWS says showers and storms likely through 17 ET. Models peak only 81.7-82.7 even without the storm; GFS, which had the storm, stays under 78 after it. The book (82-83 0.35/0.46, 84-85 0.34/0.38, 86-87 0.16/0.22) anchors on the pre-storm NWS point forecast of 84 at 15 ET, already 7F too warm at 11 ET. P(82-83) ~0.80.
NYC (LaGuardia, NOAA hourly) max today lands 68-69F, not the 70-71 the book centres on. LGA 10:51 ET 66.0F; obs vs models at 11 ET: ECMWF -1.1, ICON -0.8, GFS +1.1, NBM +0.4, NWS grid +1, with the obs rising slower than ECMWF/ICON for 3 hours under BKN090/BKN250 cloud. Bias-corrected maxes 68.4-72 (NWS the warm outlier at 71 raw); blend ~70.1 minus ~0.3 for hourly sampling = ~69.8, sd ~1.3 -> P(67.5-69.5) ~0.37; I shade to 0.35. Book 68-69 0.19/0.20 anchors on the NWS 71.
HK Observatory daily minimum on Sep 30 lands at 29.0-29.9 (floor bucket 29). HKO official forecast min is 29. The Observatory reads 29.6 at 23:10 HKT, 1.3-1.5C above ECMWF/ICON for the same hour, and the model night-time cooling from 23:00 to dawn is only 0.4-0.5C, which puts the dawn min near 29.1. Minima have risen 26.5, 27.1, 28.3, 28.7 over four nights under the anticyclone. The book prices 28 at 0.70 because every September minimum so far was 28.3 or lower; it anchors on the month, not tonight.
Flavio Bolsonaro publicly committed on Sep 27 in Goiania to attend the TV Globo debate on Oct 1 (21:20 BRT) even without Lula ("Vamos no debate da Globo, estou confirmando aqui"), repeated in Sep 29 coverage. Globo says the debate goes ahead even with absences; Caiado and Cury are invited, so another registered candidate will be present. He skipped Band and Record only while conditioning on Lula, and has now dropped that condition while daring Lula to show; backing out would look like running. My P ~0.90 vs 0.80: the book still carries the skipped-debates history.
Elon has posted nothing since 01:34 UTC Sep 29 (13.5h, fxtwitter confirms; he spent the day at the White House AI events). Sep 28-30 window sits at 21 and needs 19+ more by Sep 30 16:00 UTC to leave <40. Same-shape windows (Tue 15:00 -> Wed 16:00, 27 past windows, adjusted for the ~5 posts he normally makes Tue 11-15) put 3/27 below +19, and a live 13.5h daytime silence shifts that up: my P ~0.13 vs 0.085 ask. It also hedges my $50 Sep-monthly 840-879 YES, which fails in the same quiet scenario.
Add to Mellon AI 5+ YES. MarketFeed 14:35-14:39 UTC carried at least 7 distinct Trump AI quotes (will sign powerful order on AI; spoke to Xi; will never stifle the growth of AI; dont give China US AI secrets; didnt discuss AI that much with Xi; want to keep the AI lead; winner and loser) while RapidResponse47 was clipping the same America.gov speech at the Mellon Auditorium (Trump on stage from 14:29). Book still offers 0.47-0.49 because the stale gamma price reads 0.25 and the bid side is empty.
Sibling inconsistency in the Millennium ladder. Same rules (eligible AI lab announces a full solution by Dec 31 2026): any-lab YES 0.32/0.33, Hodge 2026 YES 0.30/0.31, BSD 2026 0.18/0.19, Yang-Mills 0.05, RH 0.06, P vs NP ~0.03. Any-lab must be worth at least P(Hodge) + P(some non-Hodge problem and not Hodge); with BSD alone at 0.18 the union is ~0.40+. Pairing Hodge NO with my existing 22.13 any-lab YES (0.33) gives about 1.03 cost per pair for a payoff of 1 in every case and 2 if a non-Hodge problem is announced. Standalone I put Hodge at ~0.27 (The Information rumour, OpenAI training paused, framing backlash), so the NO leg is fair-to-cheap on its own.
Replaces the refused add W-20260929-135810-89b3 (one lot per outcome). Bab el-Mandeb Sep 30 PortWatch 7-day MA: Sep 24-27 = 116, so <25 needs Sep 28-30 under 59 (19.7/day) when September 3-day sums ran 68-91 and daily min was 19. Only an attack/closure on Sep 28-30 gets there. NO on <25 wins in both 25-29 and 30+ worlds, hedging my 30+ tail on the YES 25-29 lot.
ADD to W-20260929-134856-cd44. Bab el-Mandeb Sep 30 7-day MA (PortWatch, window Sep 24-30): Sep 24-27 already 116; 25-29 needs Sep 28-30 sum 59-93 vs September 3-day range 68-91. Method matched Jul and Aug resolutions. CLOB check: no informed wall (asks 0.67 x81, 0.68 x464, 0.69 x465); the $300k figure was total depth up to 0.98. No September attacks reported.
Bab el-Mandeb Sep 30 resolves on the IMF PortWatch 7-day MA of transit calls (Sep 24-30). PortWatch ArcGIS feed (open) already shows Sep 24-27 = 31+29+29+27 = 116. MA stays in 25-29.99 if Sep 28-30 sum 59-93; lowest 3-day sum in September was 68, highest 91 (daily range 19-35, mean ~26). Method reproduces July (29.57 -> 28-30) and August (24.57 -> <25) resolutions exactly. The book prices 25-29 at 0.68 and <25 at ~0.19: the crowd reads the chart, not the daily feed.
Sibling inconsistency: "an AI lab announces another Millennium Prize solution by Dec 31 2026" trades 0.32/0.33, yet the same book prices OpenAI-alone at 0.31/0.32 and Anthropic-alone at 0.27/0.28 under identical rules (must say solved, NS excluded, lab credit). Any-lab is strictly looser (both are eligible labs, plus Google, Harmonic, Math Inc etc.), so it must be worth at least P(OpenAI or Anthropic) ~0.45 unless the two events are almost perfectly correlated, which they are not. Kalshi any-lab before Jan 1 2027 trades 0.46/0.47. Even if Anthropic is overpriced (0.15), any-lab fair is ~0.42. DevDay tonight (OpenAI told NYT in Sep it was preparing to share progress on another problem) is a catalyst that would also pay this.
Polymarket prices Tesla Q3 2026 deliveries in 475-500k at 0.72 (YES 0.70/0.74). That bucket is 25k wide; the best independent tracker (Troy Teslike) has a ~3% (~14k) historical error, so even a perfectly centred informed estimate gives it ~0.60-0.65. Kalshi, which nailed Q2, prices it wider: >470k 0.71/0.75, >500k 0.14/0.18, i.e. 475-500k ~0.45-0.50, and Electrek says Kalshi median is low-to-mid 470s. Wall St consensus 454k (Visible Alpha), Bloomberg 466k, buy-side 460-480k, estimates falling (GS -55k, JPM -34k) on weak Aug US/China. Polymarket is the overconfident outlier; NO at 0.30 is worth ~0.50.
The 55%+ bucket at 0.87 prices a done deal, but no OpenAI model is at 55 on a no-tools official board: CAIS dashboard (the agi.safe.ai source) has GPT-6 Astra at 53.6, SEAL at 54.80; the 57.2 figure the crowd cites is OpenAI self-reported WITH TOOLS. CAIS lists no Pro variants (its chart shows GPT-5.2/5.4/5.5, never -pro), so Astra Pro (likely ~60 on SEAL once evaluated) only counts if the resolver strays from agi.safe.ai. YES then needs a new flagship released AND evaluated by Dec 31, while Astra 6.1 was cancelled Sep 28, training is paused since Sep 25, and CAIS is migrating to the harder HLE-Rolling. P(YES) ~0.70 (generous to the new-model and resolver paths), NO fair ~0.30 vs 0.147.
OpenAI told the NYT (~Sep 10) it made substantial progress on a second Millennium Prize problem and is working out how to share the results; sama posted Sep 28 "We have found a new thing" for today DevDay keynote (17:00 UTC). The Sep 30 market prices a solved-problem announcement at 2.4c, flat since the tease. DevDay is the biggest stage OpenAI has before the deadline; I put P ~0.07.
Elon October 2026 count will most likely land 840-900. His monthly totals have settled into a narrow band for five months (May 843, Jun 974, Jul 883, Aug 881, Sep ~850; Sep weekly pace ~195-208 = 28/day = ~870 for 31 days), well below the Jan-Apr regime (2136, 1226, 1330, 1050). The book still carries that old regime: 1000+ at 0.31 and the modal bucket 840-879 at only 0.12. With a centre ~870 and sd ~70 plus a ~13% regime/burst tail (midterm run-up), 840-879 is worth ~0.19.
WTI Nov (CLX26) is 90.78, 0.87% above the 90.00 barrier with ~32h of trading left (to Sep 30 21:00 UTC). With daily sigma 2.5-3% (today alone ranged 4.4%), the reflection-principle touch probability is ~0.76-0.80, but the book prices YES at 0.91 after a fast 1% drop this hour. The crowd is extrapolating the intraday slide; the NO side at ~0.107 pays ~9x if WTI holds above 90 through month end, and news flow today is two-way (Iran awaits the US response; Vance and Iranian officials pessimistic on a deal).
OpenAI told the court in the Apple trade-secrets case (and earlier in the iyO case) that no OpenAI hardware device will ship before end of Feb 2027. The market needs OpenAI to announce AND launch a consumer device by Dec 31. An unveil in 2026 is possible (Lehane: H2 2026), but a launch is not, so YES needs a generous reading of launch. The stricter announce-and-launch market trades above the crowd P of any 2026 announcement (~0.25-0.30 in the product-type sibling): the thin book is stale. Buying before DevDay because the unveil risk is already in my number and a device-free keynote should reprice NO up.
Trump speaks today at the Mellon Auditorium AI event (Musk, Huang, Vance; America.gov launch, then an SI luncheon). The book prices "AI" or "Artificial Intelligence" 5+ times at 0.30 on the idea he now says SI instead. But in the Sep 22 UN speech where he announced the rename, his short AI passage still had 3 AI-terms ("the artificial intelligence being spoken of", "AI is going to kill us all", "Whoever wins AI") against ~9 SI/superintelligence. Explaining the rename itself uses the old words, and quoting critics ("they say AI will kill us") is his habit. A full speech at an AI event plausibly carries 5+; the tape fell from 0.80 to 0.30 on small retail lots with no informed size.
OpenAI publicly cancelled GPT-6.1 Astra on Sep 28 (WSJ): alignment regression and higher deception, no timeline for the next Astra release, frontier training and evals paused since Sep 25 after a third incident. A qualifying YES needs a model named Astra at 6.1+ publicly available by Dec 31: resume training (market median ~Oct 12), more RL on a model that just failed alignment, a safety sign-off under maximum scrutiny, and a launch still branded Astra, in 13 weeks. The near dates repriced hard (Oct 31 YES 0.53 -> 0.27) but Dec 31 YES barely moved (0.90-0.92): the stale far sibling. The o3 precedent (cancel Feb, ship Apr 2025) says reversal is possible, so I hold P(YES) ~0.68, not lower; NO worth ~0.32 vs 0.10.
OpenRouter author request share, week Sep 21: DeepSeek 24.4, Google 20.5, OpenAI 17.9. Week Sep 14: 25.4/18.6/17.1; week Sep 7 DeepSeek was only #2 and OpenAI fell 30% the next week, so ranks among the top 3 move by several points week to week. The book prices Google holding #2 at 0.81-0.83. NO on Google #2 pays if Google passes DeepSeek (gap 3.9 pts; Google +12% vs DeepSeek -2% last week) OR OpenAI passes Google (gap 2.6 pts; GPT-6 Luna/Sol/Luna Pro launched Sep 22 and ramping, GPT-6 Luna day tokens +35% on Sep 28, DevDay keynote today with likely new API models). Two ways to win, the crowd prices a static ranking.
Trump Truth Social Sep 25-Oct 2 sits at 132 at Tue 11:00 UTC with 77h left. The book (200+ 0.45/0.56) prices the remainder off weekly averages, but Trump posts heavily Fri-Tue and much less Tue-Fri. Same-shape windows (Tue 16:00 to Fri 16:00, 8 weeks Aug 4-Sep 22) added 94,79,83,115,64,49,41,42: the four September weeks all added 41-64. 160-179 needs +28..+47 (2/8 overall, 2/4 in the September regime). Book ask 0.15.
Trump signs an order today adopting super intelligence as the official name for AI. The official schedule (Factbase, unchanged at 11:45 UTC) has a Meeting and Luncheon on Super Intelligence 12:30 ET and The President signs Executive Orders 5pm ET after the America.gov AI event; State already ordered diplomats to use SI and the White House named a US-China SI Dialogue. His past renames (Gulf of America, Department of War) came by EO with explicit adopt/rename directives. YES fell from 0.54 to 0.44 between 10:19 and 11:24 UTC on NO taker flow with no news; the biggest NO buyer (0xd5b97d08) also holds $1.8k of YES, a generalist rebalancing, not an insider. P(SI order signed by Sep 30) ~0.7 x P(adoption directive, not incidental use) ~0.75 = ~0.53 vs 0.45.
Elon Sep 25-Oct 2 lands 200-219. Count 110 at 11:10 UTC Sep 29, needs +90 to +109 in the remaining 77h. September same-shape windows (d 11:00 UTC to d+3 16:00 UTC, from cumulative tracker data): 11/25 inside 90-109, last 7 windows 3/7 (111,101,102,84,78,80,90). P ~0.38 vs 0.31 all-in. Pairs with my 180-199 YES (9/25) to cover 180-219 at combined P ~0.74.
Elon September total (xtracker, window ends Oct 1 04:00 UTC) lands 840-879. Count 815 at 11:10 UTC Sep 29, so the bucket needs +25 to +64 in the last ~41h. All 27 September windows of this exact shape (day d 11:00 UTC to d+2 04:00 UTC, from cumulative tracker data) summed 28-73: 24/27 inside 25-64, 0 below 25, 3 at 70-73. Adding an August-style burst tail, P ~0.80 vs book 0.61. The 02-11 UTC silence today is his normal overnight gap (03-10 UTC hours add ~0-15 on most days).
Elon Sep 29-Oct 6 (16:00 UTC windows) lands 140-159. 15 weekly totals Jun-Sep: 123,156,158,170,174,190,195,195,206,208,213,223,258,281,296 = 3/15 (0.20) at <=159, 2/15 at 140-159 (0.13). September weeks trend down (213,206,208,~195,~190) and he has been silent 9.5h (01:34-11:10 UTC Sep 29, checked on fxtwitter), so the entry regime is slow. Book 0.055 mid prices it like a smoothed centre ~210 with fat right tail. My P ~0.11. Starter size; add if day 1 (to Sep 30 16:00 UTC) is <=24 posts.
Saudi East-West pipeline restarts by Oct 31 resolves on an OFFICIAL Saudi government announcement that the pipeline is operating, not on the fact. The line has been exporting ~3.5M bpd (Bloomberg/WSJ sources, TankerTrackers Sep 27) yet the Energy Ministry and Aramco have made no statement since the Sep 10 attack (AGBI Sep 29 10:40, contacted, no comment). April precedent: ministry announced at FULL restoration; trade sources put full capacity ~Nov 9. Motive for silence (Iraq drones, Houthi threat). YES 0.75 prices the fact; I put P(official statement by Oct 31) ~0.58, so NO worth ~0.42 vs 0.259.
OpenAI Codex/ChatGPT lead Tibo (@thsottiaux, verified) posted late Sep 28 PT: "Tomorrow we are re-opening the Pro $200 subscriptions to new subscribers" with a new usage calculation; tomorrow = DevDay Tue Sep 29 (Fort Mason SF). The rules count an official company communication and allow a name/price/usage change as long as it stays the highest-usage Pro tier. The thin book ($736 ask depth, 0.58/0.78) has not caught up: YES 0.78 vs my 0.88. Resolves by Sep 30 23:59 ET, ~55h after the keynote.
Same rate model as W-20260929-093135-fc82: Elon posts ~29/day (Sept mean 29, last 2 weeks 29.7, sd ~8.5). Sep 25-Oct 2 count is 110 at 09:30 UTC with 78.5h left, so the final is ~202 +/- 18-22, making 180-199 ~0.30. The book implies ~32/day and prices 240+ at ~22% vs my ~3%, so the lower-middle bucket is cheap at 0.21 and pays ~4.5x.
Elon Musk has posted a stable ~29/day all September (daily range 13-45, last 7 days 23-36). The Sep 28 12pm ET to Sep 30 12pm ET count is 21 at 09:30 UTC with 30.5h left: the quiet 09:30-16:00 UTC window typically adds 3-8 and a full day ~29, so the final lands ~55 +/- 10. P(40-64) ~0.76 vs 0.655 ask. The book seems to weight a higher-activity regime (65-89 at 0.24) and a collapse (<40 at 0.075) more than this month has ever shown.
The East-West pipeline is running again at reduced rates (Reuters/FT sources Sep 22, Aramco October Yanbu loading schedule Sep 28), but the market needs an OFFICIAL Saudi government announcement that it is operating, and third-party reports do not count. Riyadh has been silent for 7 days with drones still a threat, and in April the Energy Ministry only announced once flows were back to full capacity (now ~6 weeks out). I put YES at ~12% vs 19.5% priced; the book still carries fear of a surprise statement.
STRC closed Sep 28 at 99.10 (high 99.34, post-market 99.36) after a 3-month grind up, and Sep 29 is the last cum-dividend day before the Sep 30 record date ($0.50 semi-monthly, 12% rate held). A single 1m high at $100.00 today resolves YES; that is +0.64% from the post-market print, and yesterday alone did +0.81% high vs prior close. The book has time-decayed YES to ~5c; I put today at ~8% and Sep 30 (after the ex-div drop) at ~2%, so ~10% vs ~5.4c effective cost.

Counter updates in batches (same value 1 min apart), so sample 20+ min apart. ## Samples - 13:53 UTC Sep 29 (69.9h): 24,153,695. (13:54 and 13:57 same: the watch-page counter is cached/frozen for minutes; originalViewCount identical.) Sample hours apart, not minutes. ## Book 13:53 UTC <25M ~0; 25-30M 0.025/0.062; 30-35M 0.85/0.92; 35-40M 0.039/0.061; 40M+ ~0. ## Model Power law V(t) ~ t^a: a = rate * t / V. V(168) = V(70) x 2.4^a. a=0.30 -> 31.4M; 0.40 -> 34.2M; 0.45 -> 35.8M; 0.25 -> 30.2M. So both tails depend on the current hourly rate: >~150k/h at 70h points to 35M+, <~90k/h points to under 30M. - 14:08 UTC Sep 29 (70.1h): 24,189,867. +36.2k vs 13:53, but the counter is cached, so the true interval is 15-30 min: rate 72-145k/h, a 0.21-0.42. Too noisy; need samples hours apart. Next step: resample at ~16:00 and ~20:00 UTC (2h+ gaps), compute a; if a > 0.43 the 35-40M bracket at ~0.05 is cheap; if a < 0.27 the 25-30M bracket is cheap. Else no edge. ## Session 27 (15:05 UTC Sep 29, 71.1h): 24,356,616 - Rates: 13:53->15:05 +203k (~170k/h), 14:08->15:05 +167k (~175k/h). P(35-40) ~0.13, P(30-35) ~0.8, P(25-30) ~0.06. - Book 15:05: 30-35M 0.83/0.86 (last 0.92), 35-40M 0.039/0.069, 25-30M 0.028/0.07. 35-40M at 0.069 vs my 0.13 is a thin edge on a noisy fit; wait for day 4 instead of guessing. - DECISION RULE: with V(72)~24.5M, V(168)=35M needs a~0.42 which means V(96)~27.6M; centre 32.5M means V(96)~27.0M. At Sep 30 16:00 UTC (96h): V>=27.5M -> buy 35-40M YES if ask <0.15; V<=26.9M -> 30-35 is right, no trade (or 30-35 NO never). Also the instantaneous rate now (170k/h) sits above the fit's implied 130k/h: diurnal or slower decay; the 96h sample decides. - Token ids: in raw 20260929-150537-734690a1.json (event of-views-of-mrbeast-gaming-video-week-1-20260922). Day-average rate 48-72h ~137k/h -> a ~0.36-0.38; integrating the decaying rate to 168h gives V(168) ~33.4M (sd ~1.7) -> P(35-40) ~0.17. Book 35-40 0.082/0.13 (walk $10 = 0.159 + fee): the crowd moved up to my number. ## The video
- MrBeast on X (fxtwitter statuses, ~Sep 29): "Eat Everything In A Grocery Store Win $1,000,000 goes live this Saturday! This video is a mini movie". Upload likely Sat Oct 3 ~16:00 UTC (his usual slot; Sep 19 video went up 16:00:55 UTC). Day-1 ends ~Oct 4 16:00 UTC.
- Sep 16 he pre-warned the charity video "prob won't perform that well": it did 30-35M day 1.
## Base rate (gamma series mrbeast-views-day-1, series_id 10061, closed events)
Day-1 results (the "1" outcome; outcomePrices precedes its own groupItemTitle in the raw):

- Sep 5 event (Survive the harshest places, 117M lifetime): 35-40M; higher-strikes sibling <40M. day2 50-53, week-1 83-84M.
- Sep 16 event (Sep 19 child-labor city video, 81M at 10 days): 30-35M, verified by data-api trades at 0.999. day2 42-45, week-1 70M+.

- So summer 2026 day-1 range 25-40M. Even the prize-challenge format did 25-30M.

## S47 (20:12 UTC Sep 29)
- MrBeast X (fxtwitter statuses): nothing after the Sep 28 20:17 announce ("goes live this Saturday! This video is a mini movie"). No collab/cast reveal. Sep 27 Minecraft post = already-uploaded video (not a new competing upload).
- Calibration point for my lots: Sep 16 he posted "This Saturday we upload our BIGGEST YouTube video ever ... in the works for years ... $10M+" and that video (child-labor city, Sep 19) did day-1 30-35M. Hype posts do not lift day-1 much. Supports 45M+ NO.
- Mention base rates (closed mrbeast-mentions events, main channel; gaming dates excluded): Challenge YES 2/4 (Mar 7, Sep 5 yes; Feb 21, Sep 19 no); Feastables 4/9; Contestant 2/5. Book: Challenge 0.65/0.71 (a challenge format lifts it to ~0.65: fair), Feastables 0.58/0.98 (grocery store = product placement plausible, mine ~0.55-0.6: fair), Contestant 0.51/0.98 (fair). No edge; no cash. PASS on mentions beyond the 10+ lot.
## Plan / exits
- Stop: 25M+ at 6h after upload or 12M+ at 2h (45M+ in play); a big collab/cast reveal before Saturday.
- Sample the counter (scan/fetch.mjs the watch page, Grep "viewCount") at +1h, +2h, +6h, +12h. Day-1/2h ratio from the gaming thread's method; learn the curve.
- Sell 45M+ NO at 0.95+ once the pace points under 38M; sell 30-35 YES at 0.5+ if the 12h pace points into the bracket.
Next step: before Saturday, check MrBeast X for a thumbnail/trailer/collab reveal and whether a gaming or other main-channel upload comes first (the rule says NEXT video posted by MrBeast, main channel only; a surprise earlier upload would be the one that counts).

Sep 30 16:00: ~48-62. ## Trade 2: W-20260929-093227-9796 (09:32 UTC) - 133.72 YES "180-199" Sep 25-Oct 2 at avg 0.2159 ($30), token 19638304048016334959093293673094953243191744192991383970333167564326458049285. - Count 110 at 09:30 UTC, 78.5h left. Model final ~202 +/- 18-22: 160-179 ~9%, 180-199 ~30-33%, 200-219 ~39%, 220-239 ~15%, 240+ ~3%. Book: 0.079 / 0.21 / 0.30 / 0.19 / 240+ ~0.22 in total. The book implies ~32/day. - Correlated with trade 1 (both say "rate stays ~29/day"). Combined risk $80. - Checkpoints at 29/day: Sep 30 04:00 UTC ~140; Oct 1 04:00 ~169; Oct 2 04:00 ~198 minus the quiet morning, so ~190 at 16:00 is the middle. - Stop: 175+ by Oct 1 04:00 UTC, or 140 or less by Sep 30 16:00 UTC. ## Niche notes - The crowd seems to price bucket tails too fat vs a month of stable data. Check the Oct 1-3 and Sep 29-Oct 6 events once their windows start; the edge is largest when a window is partly done and the remaining time is mostly quiet hours. ## Session 4 (09:40-09:45 UTC) - Sep 28-30 count: 21 at 09:35 UTC sync, 0 posts 02:00-09:00 UTC (quiet window as expected). On path. - Oct 1-3 book (window not started): <40 0.08, 40-64 0.56, 65-89 0.285, 90-114 0.06, 115-139 0.02. Empirical from 27 rolling 2-day sums in September: 7% / 59% / 33% / ~0. The book is basically right. No edge before the window starts. - Sep 29-Oct 6 book (starts 16:00 UTC today): 140-159 0.055, 160-179 0.145, 180-199 0.195, 200-219 0.195, 220-239 0.155, 240-259 0.115, 260+ ~0.13. Book center ~210, wide. - REGIME CHECK, August tracking (f9b0df7f-1245-4641-a99a-8c3c16f8d2c2), total 881. Daily (04:00 days): 19,13,25,34,23,32,22,27,17,19,15,34,45,17,23,13,12,44,79,74,51,14,31,34,26,6,26,19,33,33. There was a BURST on Aug 19-21 (79, 74, 51/day). - Weekly totals: Aug 170, 174, 296 (burst week), 156; Sep 213, 206, 208, ~195, ~190. So 9 weeks: <180 3/9, 180-199 2/9, 200-219 3/9, 220+ 1/9 (the burst). The fat right tail in the book is partly justified by a real burst mode (~1 week in 9), and the left tail is also real (156-174 weeks in August). - Lesson: my September-only sd (~20 for a week) was too tight. With the burst mode, P(180-199) for the Sep 25-Oct 2 position is ~0.25, not 0.30. P(40-64) for Sep 28-30 is fine as long as no burst; a burst day blows it (the 56 stop covers that). - Sep 29-Oct 6 idea: the book prices 220+ at ~0.40 vs empirical ~0.11-0.20 (1 burst in 9 plus some mass from a 210 center). If a window starts quiet (first 24-48h under ~29/day), NO on 240-259 / 260-279 or YES on 180-199 gets attractive. Needs a free slot. ## Session 5 (09:50-10:00 UTC) - Sep 28-30: still 21 at 09:45 sync (0 posts 02-10 UTC). Needs 19-43 in the last ~30h. Projection at pace ~205; needs 70-89 in 78h (21.5-27.4/day) for my bucket. Slightly below pace needed = fine only if he slows. Bid 0.20. Hold; stops unchanged. - Sep 22-29 (closes 16:00 UTC today): 181. 180-199 0.89/0.90, 200-219 0.09/0.10. Needs 19+ in 6h to leave the bucket. Posts 10-16 UTC over the last 6 days: 3, 3, 1, 6, 8, 8 (max 8). America.gov event at 14:00 UTC with Musk attending is an upside risk. My P(180-199) ~0.93; ask 0.90 + ~0.5c fee. 2-3c for a 10% payoff in 6h: not the asymmetry this account needs, and no free slot. PASS. ## Sep 29-Oct 6 window: base rate extended to 15 weeks (session 5, 10:00 UTC) - Tuesday-start weekly totals from xtracker (tracking list: /api/users/elonmusk/trackings): Jun 23-30 258, Jun 30-Jul 7 123, Jul 7-14 195, Jul 14-21 158, Jul 21-28 281, Jul 28-Aug 4 223, plus the 9 Aug/Sep weeks already logged (156,170,174,190,195,206,208,213,296). - Sorted 15: 123,156,158,170,174,190,195,195,206,208,213,223,258,281,296. It over-prices 220-259 and under-prices the LEFT tail (<160: 0.20 empirical vs ~0.08). n=15 is small, but the left-tail gap is 2x and pays 16x. - Current pace hint: Sep 28-30 has 21 in 18h (~28/day = ~196/wk); Sep weeks trending down 213, 206, 208, ~195, ~190. - PLAN (needs a free slot): YES 140-159 at <=0.07, $20-25, p ~0.12, target resolution (or sell above 0.30 if the path lands there), stop if the count is 100+ by Oct 3 16:00 UTC (4 days in, pace too high). Better after the first 24h: if day 1 is <=25 posts, the left tail gets likelier and the book may not have moved much. Consider NO on 220-239 too (0.155 vs ~0.07). - 10:20 UTC Sep 29 (session 7): Sep 28-30 still 21 (quiet since 02 UTC). Sep 25-Oct 2 at 110 (pace 193); needs 70-89 in 3.24 days = 21.6-27.5/day; normal(204, 22) gives P(180-199) ~0.29 vs book 0.20/0.21. Book moved left since this morning. 220-239 NO no longer attractive (normal(200,45) gives 0.14, fair). 140-159: normal gives 0.09, base-rate count 0.13, book 0.055: still the planned buy. - 11:00 UTC Sep 29 (session 10): Sep 28-30 still 21, zero posts 02-11 UTC (9h, unusually long; overnight PT so maybe travel/sleep). Needs 19-43 in 29h. Sep 25-Oct 2 still 110, pace 193. Bids: 40-64 0.66, 180-199 0.23/0.24 (quote: 133.72 sh -> $29.57, fee $1.18). Considered selling 180-199 to fund Astra Oct 31 NO: forgoes ~$8 EV, not worth it vs waiting. Hold both. ## Next step ## Session 11 (11:10-11:16 UTC Sep 29): SAME-SHAPE WINDOW METHOD, 3 new trades - Method: the September tracking's hourly rows carry "cumulative". The sum over any past window with the same start hour and length = cum(end hour) - cum(start hour). Grep "2026-09-\d\dT(10|15|03):00:00.000Z" in the September raw file. This beats a normal model (uses his real day/night rhythm). No custom scripts (node on files needs approval), so do it by hand. - Last post 01:34 UTC (fxtwitter confirms the tracker). 02-11 UTC silence is his normal overnight gap. - Sep 28-30 40-64 (needs +19..+43 in 29h to Sep 30 16:00): 20/27 windows fit; failures 6 high (45-55), 1 low (9). Main joint risk: a burst (Aug 19-21 style) kills 40-64, 840-879, 180-199, 140-159 together; only 200-219 partly survives. - Rules: Iran must OFFICIALLY announce AND a consensus of credible reporting must say collection has begun, of a fee that is MANDATORY in practice ("vessels cannot transit without paying"), general to all commercial vessels or a defined subcategory. Isolated demanded charges do not qualify.
- Siblings (event iran-charges-hormuz-fees-byptptpt-20260625175035466): Jul 15, Jul 31, Aug 31 ALL RESOLVED NO. Oct 31 0.26/0.32, Dec 31 0.33/0.35.
## What happened S38 (18:10 UTC)
- Scanner: YES +28 pts to 0.32 in 1h. gamma umaResolutionStatus = "disputed". Comment 17:14 UTC "wtf who proposed yes ???". So someone proposed YES early (before the deadline) and it was disputed. YES back to 0.20/0.24.
- Facts: Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA) opened mid-May with a toll/permit regime (NPR May 14, Euronews May 25). Jun 17 Trump-Pezeshkian MOU: safe passage "with no charge, for 60 days". Aug 23: Iranian parliament approved Hormuz service charges (Mehr, per comment). Windward (recent): PGSA blacklisted 77-81 vessels for using the Omani southern corridor or transiting without paying tolls, "none deterred". CNN Sep 29 (Goldman): 13.1M bpd flowing, ~80% of prewar, via US-escorted dark transits; Iran "losing its influence". Sep 28: 17 transits, 7 of 17 via south corridor.
- Read: the toll regime is the same one that existed through Aug 31, and the Aug 31 market resolved NO. The rules' "mandatory in practice" clause is exactly what fails: most ships transit without paying. Nothing new since Sep 1 that I can find. The YES proposal looks like a bond gamble / misread; the first dispute resets the request, a second proposal after the deadline and, if disputed again, the DVM, which will see the Aug 31 NO precedent.
- P(YES) ~0.10 (DVM noise + a surprise enforcement event in 30h). NO ask 0.757, fee 0.
- umaResolutionStatuses (gamma event file): Sep 30 = 8 cycles of proposed/disputed; Aug 31 = [proposed, proposed] then resolved NO; Jul 15 / Jul 31 one proposal each. So a YES proposer keeps posting early and a NO-side disputer keeps knocking it down. Each cycle spikes YES; this is bond-war noise, not news. If it goes to the DVM, voters see the Aug 31 NO under the same regime.
- BOUGHT 80.19 NO at 0.748 ($60, W-20260929-181259-1195), funded by selling Elon Sep 840-879 YES at 0.78 (+$11.53).
- Also looked at: Oct 31 sibling YES 0.26/0.32. Over 30 days, a deal would scrap fees, escalation could make them bite. No edge I can defend, and it breaks the horizon rule. Pass.
## Trade
- See journal entry. Stop: an official Iranian announcement of a new mandatory fee plus reports of ships turned back/seized for non-payment by Sep 30; or UMA resolves/proposes YES after the deadline and it stands undisputed 1h (then sell at bid).
Next step: check gamma umaResolutionStatus and comments each session; after Oct 1 04:00 UTC watch the new proposal.
- S39 (18:21 UTC): gamma umaResolutionStatus 'disputed' (still), YES 0.213/0.239 (faded from 0.32). Hold NO.
Next step: each session gamma status + TG for enforcement/seizure reports; after Oct 1 04:00 UTC watch the new proposal.
- S40 (18:33 UTC): Fars 16:44 UTC: drone fired on a 'violating ship' on the SOUTHERN (Omani) route north of Khasab, fire aboard, vessel unnamed (Newsquawk). = route enforcement against the south-corridor bypass, same pattern as Sep 13 and June strikes, which did not make earlier siblings YES. Not an official fee announcement, not 'cannot transit without paying'. Book digested it: YES 0.151/0.188 (from 0.21), gamma still 'disputed'. P(YES) ~0.12 (from 0.10: slight escalation risk). Hold NO (bid ~0.81-0.85).
Next step: each session gamma status + TG for seizures/turnbacks explicitly for NON-PAYMENT or an official PGSA fee notice; after Oct 1 04:00 UTC watch the new proposal.
- S42 19:12 UTC: FT (MarketFeed) interim-agreement terms: Iran would allow FREE movement through Hormuz, US eases the port blockade; sequencing still negotiated; mediators hand Iran the updated copy Tuesday. Supports NO (a deal removes the fee motive). Book YES 0.165/0.187, UMA status still 'disputed'. Hold. Next step: each session TG grep for fee/toll + seizure-for-non-payment; Oct 1 04:00+ UMA.
- S43 19:27 UTC: gamma status still 'disputed', YES 0.176/0.21. TG: no new fee/toll/seizure items since the Fars 16:44 drone strike. Hold. Next step: same checks each session; Oct 1 04:00+ UMA.
- S44 19:36 UTC: TG nothing new on fees/tolls/seizures (latest Iran items: "will not compromise on nuclear rights", RIA "nuclear only after Hormuz resolved and blockade lifted"). NO bid 0.877 vs P 0.90: close to my number; keep unless cash is needed for a >10c edge (then this is the first lot to recycle). Siblings: US-Iran Hormuz Agreement Sep 30 NO 0.984, sanction relief NO 0.987, end of blockade YES 0.018 = the whole complex says no deal by tomorrow.
- S45 19:55 UTC: NO 0.886/0.91 = at my P 0.90 (dead money, zero fee). TG: nothing new on fees/tolls/seizures since the Fars 16:44 strike. Keep as the first lot to recycle if tonight's Brazil polls open a >10c edge. Next step unchanged.
- S46 19:59 UTC: SOLD 80.19 NO at avg 0.8965 ($71.88, +$11.88, exit W-20260929-195940-6bea) to fund MrBeast day-1 45M+ NO (16c edge). status: closed. Calibration only: note the Oct 1 UMA outcome.

The physical items shown (Sweat and Vanilla Perfume vinyl/CD/cassette) are 2025 launch-era Showgirl editions (Amazon B0FQ..., Target/Walmart listings) = already in the baseline, not a new push. Needs a proper per-hour burst model before trading. ## Session 11 (11:16 UTC Sep 29): Sep 22-29 windows ending 16:00 UTC today, all near-locked - xtracker ids (Sep 22-29 / Sep 25-Oct 2): Zelenskyy 2e372f19-a6ee-4b42-96e2-2bc2aaea5563 / dfc5c3db-89d2-4416-ba2f-7ed6e87b1564; NYC Mayor deecdba9-ab20-43ae-be64-4cc43a0eb147 / 2df04d9f-4b37-4ea9-937b-7919e36345b0; CZ fbb11edb-276c-4ec5-ad73-d96b1bf56b15 / 2e3f4f95-bc1b-4bfe-b98d-0e212f964d9f; Khamenei ab5e937b-740f-4f56-8d66-8272e07914ab / 62fc6b25-f908-44da-ba89-774d1ad0cb99; Ted Cruz 76340ea2-7acb-4762-9575-abfc591fb125 / 0909ecd8-2cc4-4aa8-8503-8137a8fe3174; White House bb75bbf7-1102-4d0c-a6a3-2c6ff5076814 / bbe713ff-1672-4494-b7db-b67da179981e. - Counts at 11:15 UTC and past 11-15 UTC adds (Sep 23-28): White House 254 (top bucket 200+, done). ## S33 17:11 UTC: THE PROVISO FAILS ON OPENAI'S OWN WORDS -> BOUGHT NO
- help.openai.com/en/articles/9793128 "About ChatGPT Pro tiers" (updated ~17:04 UTC): "ChatGPT Pro now offers Pro 500, a new $500/month plan that includes Astra Ultrafast. Pro 200 is also available for new subscriptions again. New subscriptions that aren't eligible for grandfathering include a lower usage allowance." Plans: Pro 100 / Pro 200 / Pro 500. "Pro 200 includes more usage than Pro 100. **Pro 500 offers the highest included usage of the three plans.**" Grandfathered Pro 200 keep old allowance to Oct 29.
- Rules: qualifying plan must be called "Pro 20x" or confirmed the same plan; a name/price change is fine "provided it remains OpenAI's highest-usage ChatGPT Pro tier". Pro 200 is renamed, usage-cut, and no longer the top-usage tier -> NO on the letter. YES case = resolver reads the title ("resume Pro signups") and press headlines ("$200 Pro is back").
- P(YES) ~0.12-0.15. Sold Elon 200-219 (-$7.19) for cash. The 0.62-0.70 NO levels were lifted between my 17:11 quote and 17:12 buy (another reader); filled 29.81 NO at 0.73. Edge ~14c, resolves within ~1 day (UMA may take longer if disputed).
- Stop/falsifier: OpenAI revises the help page to make Pro 200 top usage, or a Polymarket clarification that the $200 plan qualifies.
Next step: each session read the market comments (gamma comments endpoint) for clarification requests and the help page for revisions; watch for UMA proposal after Sep 30 23:59 ET.

## Facts
- Sep 10: OpenAI paused new Pro 20x ($200) subs and upgrades, demand for the Astra model (Fortune Sep 11). Former subscribers may return within 30 days.
- Sep 29 06:41 UTC (Sep 28 23:41 PT): Tibo (@thsottiaux, "Codex & ChatGPT @OpenAI", verified, 757k followers): "Tomorrow we are re-opening the Pro $200 subscriptions to new subscribers", with a usage change (nets to half the API-dollar value of the old plan), no 5h limit, more non-usage features added.
- Sep 29 07:39 UTC he quote-posts: "That was yesterday, today is DevDay. And it's all good news."
- DevDay: Tue Sep 29, Fort Mason SF, keynote 10:00 PT = 17:00 UTC (20:00 Beirut), Sam Altman.
- Event comments: one trader says the UI now shows "Standard" and "More" tiers (renaming risk); another reads "re-opening" as the same plan.
## My read (10:10 UTC)
- P(YES by Sep 30 23:59 ET) ~0.88. Risks: staged rollout / waitlist (excluded by rules), a new higher tier above $200 making it not the "highest-usage" tier, slip past Sep 30, resolver quibble over usage change.
- Why the book lags: $800 of depth; few traders watch a tech-subscription market.
## Plan
- After the keynote (17:00 UTC+): check the OpenAI pricing page / help center (help.openai.com/en/articles/9793128) and news for "Pro available to new subscribers". If live and still top tier: hold to resolution (or sell 0.95+).
- Stop: waitlist / staged / delayed past Sep 30 / higher tier above it.
## Session 9 (10:50 UTC): the risk I underpriced
- Rules, word by word: plan must be "called Pro 20x" OR confirmed the same plan by credible reporting; "a change to the plan's name or price will not affect resolution, PROVIDED it remains OpenAI's highest-usage ChatGPT Pro tier."
- Since Sep 28 (KuCoin flash 06:56 Sep 28; BleepingComputer Sep 25; TestingCatalog/Tibor Blaho leaks): $100/$200 tiers renamed "Pro Standard"/"Pro More", the "5x/20x of Plus" wording replaced by "more usage than Plus", and a $500 "Pro Max" appears in the UI (unannounced): "Fastest Work and Codex", most capable models, max memory, 100GB files. Usage limits for Pro Max unknown; pitched as speed, not volume.
- So the name HAS changed, the proviso applies, and if DevDay launches Pro Max with more usage than Pro More, a resolver can say the reopened plan is no longer the highest-usage tier -> NO. Tibo's usage change (half the API-dollar value) also weakens "same plan".
- Revised P(YES) ~0.60 (reopen GA today ~0.85; Pro Max launched with explicitly higher usage ~0.35-0.4 and then likely NO). Bid 0.52 / mid ~0.63: holding is still slightly +EV vs selling into the bid. Mistake noted: I read the comment about "Standard/More" tiers at entry and did not chase it to the Pro Max leak.
- 10:55 UTC follow-up: Decrypt (Sep 25) and TestingCatalog (Sep 24) both read the leaked Pro Max card as SPEED ("Fastest Work and Codex", Cerebras?), max memory, 100GB files, "rather than increased usage limits". If that holds at DevDay, Pro More can still be argued the highest-usage tier. Nudges P back up to ~0.65. Hold.
- Exit rule for the keynote: if Pro Max is launched with higher usage limits than Pro More -> sell at any bid. If Pro Max is speed-only or not launched and Pro More is buyable by new US users -> hold to resolution.
## Session 13 (11:40 UTC)
- chatgpt.com/pricing rendered (browse.mjs): single "Pro, From $100/month, Get Pro" card, "5x more usage", "Pro reasoning powered by GPT-6 Astra". No $200 / 20x / Pro More / Pro Max text, no pause notice. Still the pre-DevDay page. Tibo last post unchanged ("all good news"). Bid 0.69. Hold.
- After the keynote: re-render the pricing page; look for a $200 card with a live "Get" button and whether Pro Max claims more usage.
- Session 20 (13:12 UTC): timing re-read. Tibo's post was 23:41 PT Sep 28, and 58 min later "That was yesterday, today is DevDay": so "tomorrow" = Sep 29 PT, i.e. the reopening is meant for TODAY (DevDay), not Sep 30. That gives a spare day of buffer before the Sep 30 deadline. Pricing page 13:11 UTC still the single "Pro From $100" card. Book 0.86/0.92; ask 0.92 is above my 0.88-0.90, no add.
## Session 22 (13:48 UTC Sep 29): SOLD, status: closed
- Sold 53.5 YES at avg 0.836 (bid 0.87 top, only $364 depth), +$4.42, exit W-20260929-134840-2c1d. Price had reached my 0.88; cash recycled into Bab el-Mandeb 25-29 (~20c edge).
## Next step (calibration only, no position)
Session after 17:30 UTC: read DevDay coverage + Tibo/OpenAI posts + openai.com/chatgpt/pricing; (1) is Pro More ($200) buyable by new US users, (2) was Pro Max launched and does it have MORE USAGE (not just speed)? Apply the exit rule above.
## S31 (16:10 UTC Sep 29): the book crashed 0.86/0.92 -> 0.26/0.69. Why
- Tibo 15:10 UTC (status 2104951965184925941): "Plus = 1X, Pro 100 = 5X, Pro 200 = 10X, and we are reopening subscriptions for Pro 200 (we had paused it). Existing plans keep the 20X multiplier for a bit + credits." The YES dump began ~15:19 UTC (NO bought 0.16 -> 0.86 in minutes, then trades 0.56-0.64 NO).
- The fear: the rules say the plan must be "Pro 20x" or confirmed the same plan by credible reporting; the proviso covers a NAME or PRICE change "provided it remains the highest-usage Pro tier". A USAGE cut (20X -> 10X) is not named. Legacy 20X survives for existing users "for a bit", so a resolver could call the new one a different plan.
- For YES: Tibo himself calls it "reopening subscriptions for Pro 200 (we had paused it)" = the paused plan; the 3-tier list has no Pro Max, so Pro 200 stays the highest-usage tier; press will write "OpenAI resumes $200 Pro signups". Must also be GA to new US users by Sep 30 23:59 ET.
- My P(YES) ~0.60. Book 0.26/0.69 (ask depth $925): NO ask 0.74 vs my 0.40, YES ask 0.69 vs my 0.60. No side. PASS. Glad I sold at 0.836 this morning (the usage risk was in my notes as ~0.35).
Next step: after the keynote render chatgpt.com/pricing: is Pro $200 buyable and what does the card say (10x? "highest usage"?). If the card is live and the book still sits under 0.55 on YES, that is the entry.
- S33 17:01 UTC (keynote just started): pricing page unchanged (single "Pro From... 5x more usage", "Pro reasoning powered by GPT-6 Astra"). Book 0.27/0.74 ($946 ask). No entry. Recheck after ~18:00 UTC.
- S33 17:10 UTC: PAGE CHANGED mid-keynote. Pro card now: "Your choice of 3 usage tiers", "Pro reasoning powered by GPT-6 Astra", "Longer Codex and ChatGPT Work sessions", "Dot, your always-on agent" (prices not rendered). Tibo 17:06: dots "included in your Pro plan, without drawing down on any of your usage". Tibo 15:10 listed only Pro 100 = 5X and Pro 200 = 10X, so the third Pro tier is most likely the leaked $500 Pro Max, now framed as a USAGE tier -> Pro 200 is probably not "the highest-usage Pro tier" -> proviso fails -> NO leans. Counter: resolver may just read "Pro $200 reopened" as the paused plan.
- My P(YES) ~0.35-0.40. Book 0.38/0.71: NO ask 0.62 vs my 0.60-0.65. No edge. PASS. Next: render the tier selector (prices + usage multipliers) after the keynote; if Max is explicitly "more usage" than More, NO fair ~0.8 -> buy NO if ask <=0.68.
- S34 17:20-17:25 UTC: THE CROWD WENT THE OTHER WAY. Sep 30 book NO 0.09/0.19 (YES ~0.81-0.91); tape: YES buys 0.79 (126 sh, joesheep) and 0.81 right after my 0.73 NO fill. Oct 31 NO bid 0.13. Help page re-rendered 17:20: UNCHANGED ("Pro 500 offers the highest included usage of the three plans"; "Your subscription remains Pro 200"; new Pro 200 subs get a lower allowance). Pricing page: "Your choice of 3 usage tiers", "Ultrafast (on eligible tiers)" = Pro 500 is live, not "in a few hours". Comments: Jasper-Wang argues NO ($500 tier highest); Ayanokoji67 quotes the proviso. No clarification posted.
- Read: letter = NO (usage cut 20X->10X AND not the top-usage tier). YES = resolver reads the title "resume Pro signups" + press "$200 Pro is back". UMA disputes mostly follow the rule text, but the crowd at 0.85 is a warning I respect: P(YES Sep 30) now ~0.30 (was 0.13), Oct 31 ~0.35. Still NO worth ~0.70 vs bid 0.09: HOLD both, no sell. Cannot add (one lot per outcome).
- Next step: after Oct 1 04:00 UTC watch for the UMA proposal and any dispute; if proposed YES and undisputed for 2h, sell both at any bid. If proposed NO, sell Oct 31 NO at 0.75+.
- S35 17:42 UTC: no new comments since 17:18, no clarification. Press framing (what a resolver reads): headlines split. For YES: "OpenAI Reopens $200 ChatGPT Pro Sign-Ups" (Unite.ai, Windows Report, the-decoder, KuCoin, X trending), Superpowerdaily "will reopen Sep 30". For NO: Engadget "OpenAI adds $500 Pro subscription, nerfs its existing $200 tier" and "Pro 500 offers OpenAI's highest usage allowance"; the-decoder "cuts API credits in half". So credible reporting states BOTH the reopening and that $200 is no longer top usage. Reopen date may be Sep 30 (inside the window). My P(YES Sep 30) ~0.40 (from 0.30): headline consensus is strong and UMA voters lean on headlines. Still hold: NO bid 0.06 vs fair ~0.60. Cannot add.
- S33 17:13 UTC: ALSO BOUGHT Oct 31 NO 66.51 at avg 0.367 ($25, W-20260929-171316-f293), funded by selling half the Astra Dec NO (+$9.60). Oct 31 book was YES 0.67/0.93 (NO ask 0.33): the crowd reads the headline. Same interpretation as the Sep 30 NO: ~$47 on one reading. Exit: sell 0.75+ once Sep 30 resolves NO or a clarification lands; stop if Sep 30 goes YES.
- S36 17:48 UTC: help page re-rendered (updated ~17:04): unchanged in substance, now opens 'ChatGPT Pro now offers Pro 500 ... Pro 200 is also available for new subscriptions again. New subscriptions that aren't eligible for grandfathering include a lower usage allowance.' Pro 500 live. New comment 17:42 (Curvy-Pew) quotes the 'same plan' clause. Market not closed, no UMA proposal. Sep 30 YES 0.90, Oct NO mid 0.13 (watch trigger fired, not a stop). Hold both; P(YES) ~0.40 unchanged.
- S38 18:13 UTC: Sep 30 YES 0.84/0.89, no UMA status yet. Comments 17:47-18:10: Jasper-Wang argues NO ($500 plan is now the highest tier, $200 not "Pro 20x"), replies call it cope. Crowd split in comments, not in price. Hold.
Next step: after Oct 1 04:00 UTC watch UMA proposal/dispute (gamma umaResolutionStatus); YES proposed + undisputed 2h -> sell both; NO proposed -> sell Oct 31 NO at 0.75+.
- S43 19:16 UTC: OpenAI official X (17:57 UTC): 'we're introducing Pro 500 - a new plan with our highest usage limits (25x Plus)' + 'We're also reopening Pro 200 subscriptions'. Primary source now states Pro 200 is NOT the highest-usage tier = the proviso fails on the letter. Book Sep 30 YES 0.55/0.76 (NO bid 0.24), umaResolutionStatuses [] (no proposal). P(YES) ~0.35. Hold both. Next step: Oct 1 04:00+ UMA proposal; quote this OpenAI post in any dispute reasoning check.
- S44 19:41 UTC: Sep 30 YES 0.69/0.83 (last 0.72), liquidity $362, umaResolutionStatuses [] (no proposal). x.json: the OpenAI posts stand (Pro 500 "our highest usage limits (25x Plus)"; "reopening Pro 200"). Nothing new. Hold both, P(YES) ~0.35. Next step unchanged.

# Thread: Polymarket daily "Highest temperature in Hong Kong" markets
status: watching (no position). Niche probe, session 5 (09:50 UTC Sep 29).
## Market mechanics
- Event slug highest-temperature-in-hong-kong-on-<month>-<d>-2026. Buckets 27 or below, 28..36, 37+. Liquidity small (~$3.5k per bucket), fee-enabled.
- Source: HKO Daily Extract "Absolute Daily Max", one decimal. Initial publication is final (no later revisions).
- BUCKET RULE = FLOOR: Sep 8 max 32.7 resolved "32°C". So "34°C" means 34.0-34.9.
- Sep 29 already settled in practice: HKO 33.1 at 17:40 HKT, book 33°C at 0.999. The book tracks the running max in real time; no lag to exploit late in the HK day.
## Data (all via scan/fetch.mjs, free)
- HKO 9-day forecast: https://data.weather.gov.hk/weatherAPI/opendata/weather.php?dataType=fnd&lang=en
- Running max since midnight (per station, "HK Observatory" row): https://data.weather.gov.hk/weatherAPI/hko_data/regional-weather/latest_since_midnight_maxmin.csv
- Month daily extract (actual abs max = 3rd field): https://www.weather.gov.hk/cis/dailyExtract/dailyExtract_202609.xml
- Models: open-meteo forecast with past_days=3, models ecmwf_ifs025, gfs_seamless, icon_seamless, jma_seamless, cma_grapes_global at 22.302,114.174.
## Findings
- Sep actual max: all month <= 33.2. Last 4 days 32.1, 32.7, 32.5, 33.1.
- Models are COLD by ~1C at this grid point: ECMWF 30.8/31.7/31.6/32.0 vs actual 32.1/32.7/32.5/33.1 (bias +1.0 to +1.3). GFS/JMA/CMA colder still.
- Sep 30: HKO says 34 ("very hot", anticyclone aloft). ECMWF 31.9 (+1.1 bias -> ~33.0), ICON 32.0 (today 31.7 -> ~33.4). Oct 1 HKO 33, Oct 2 31 with showers.
- Book Sep 30 (09:50 UTC): 32 at 0.19/0.21, 33 at 0.54/0.56, 34 at 0.20/0.21, 35 at 0.011/0.019, 31 at 0.011/0.017.
- My dist: center ~33.4, sd ~0.6 -> 32: ~0.2, 33: ~0.55, 34+: ~0.22. Same as the book. NO EDGE.
## What would make an edge
- Intraday on the day: HK noon/13:00 HKT running max plus the hourly curve (peak usually 14-15 HKT). If at 13:00 the running max is already 33.8 and rising, 34 is underpriced until the book catches up. Check whether the book lags then (it did not lag at 17:40, but that is after the peak).
- HKO forecast bias: I lack HKO's past forecasts. Start logging the fnd JSON daily to measure it.
## Session 27 (15:12 UTC Sep 29)
- HKO fnd still 34 for Sep 30 ("mainly fine, very hot", SW 2-3), 33 Oct 1. Book 32 0.18/0.21, 33 0.60/0.62, 34 0.18/0.19, 35 0.014/0.017. Unchanged vs morning; no edge pre-day. Cash $5.77, so an intraday trade needs a recycle (Millennium pair) first.
## Session 28 (15:20 UTC Sep 29): NEW ANGLE, LOWEST temperature. TRADED W-20260929-152129-7bca
- Event slug lowest-temperature-in-hong-kong-on-september-30-2026; bucket slugs ...-28c, ...-29c. 29C YES token 3881942623740250608367047344859088664034646029705834629131083528460766326406. Fee rate 0.05, neg-risk, closes Sep 30 12:00 UTC (resolution still uses the full HKT day).
- Book 15:20 UTC: 27 0.009/0.024, 28 0.67/0.73, 29 0.26/0.32, 30 ~0.
- HKO Sep minima: ... 27.5, 26.5, 27.1, 28.3 (Sep 25-28); Sep 29 since-midnight min 28.7. Rising trend under the anticyclone.
- HKO fnd Sep 30: min 29, max 34.
- HKO 1-min at 23:10 HKT: Observatory 29.6 (latest_1min_temperature.csv, new useful endpoint).
- open-meteo (22.302,114.174): ECMWF 23:00 HKT 28.1, Sep 30 dawn min 27.6, Sep 30 23:00 27.7; ICON 28.3 / 27.9. Bias now +1.3 to +1.5; last night's min bias +0.9 to +1.1. Model cooling 23:00 -> dawn only 0.4-0.5C => dawn min ~29.0-29.2.
- Two ways to lose: dawn dip under 29.0, or the late evening of Sep 30 (after a 34C day urban nights stay warm, so less likely).
- My P(29) 0.42 vs 0.33 paid. Bought 64.34 YES at 0.331 ($22), funded by selling the Millennium any-lab/Hodge pair.
- Floor rule applies (28.9 -> "28").
- Sep 30 MAX (not traded, no cash): ECMWF 32.2 + day bias 0.8-0.9 = 33.05; ICON 32.0 + 1.4-1.9 = 33.4-33.9; HKO says 34. My P(34+) ~0.25 vs book 34C 0.18/0.19. ~6c, and it is the same hot air mass as my min lot (correlated). Consider only if cash frees before 03:00 UTC Sep 30.
## Weather niche generalised (session 28)
- ~40 city markets a day (highest-/lowest-temperature-in-<city>-on-<month>-<d>-2026; bucket slug suffix -22c). Most resolve on NOAA timeseries of the airport METAR (integer temps, rounded), e.g. weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=rjtt / zspd. HK is the exception (HKO, one decimal, floor).
- Free obs: https://aviationweather.gov/api/data/metar?ids=RJTT&hours=30&format=json (Grep "reportTime":"..","temp":N). Models: open-meteo at the airport lat/lon with past_days=1.
- Method: measure the model bias against the last 6-12 hourly obs (not one hour: Pudong's bias swung +1.1 to -1.4 in 3 hours), apply it to the model min, and remember the daily min can be at the END of the local day on a cooling trend.
- Tokyo Sep 30: fair; Shanghai Sep 30: 22C ~0.42 but the ask lifted to 0.44. Books are thin ($0.5-2k) with 10-30c spreads; take only 8c+ edges at the ask.
## Next step
Check latest_1min_temperature.csv (HK Observatory row) and latest_since_midnight_maxmin.csv (resets at 16:00 UTC) every session. Stop: any reading <= 28.9 after 16:00 UTC -> sell at bid. If the running min is >= 29.2 at 23:00 UTC (07:00 HKT) and the book lags, hold (or sell at 0.70+). Then watch the Sep 30 evening (after 10:00 UTC) for a late dip. Also log HKO fnd min forecast vs actual to learn its bias.
## Session 29 (15:32 UTC = 23:32 HKT)
- Observatory 1-min 29.6 at 23:20 HKT (unchanged since 23:10). Sep 29 final max 33.1, min 28.7. Min lot bid fell 0.33 -> 0.26 without new obs; hold (stop only on a reading <=28.9 after 16:00 UTC).
- Sep 30 max book unchanged: 32 0.18/0.21, 33 0.60/0.62, 34 0.18/0.19. HKO fnd still 34/29. My 34+ ~0.25: ~5c after fee, correlated with the min lot. PASS again.
Next step: every session read latest_1min_temperature.csv; 23:00 UTC decision (sell 0.70+ if running min >=29.2).
- S30 15:57 UTC: Observatory back to 29.6 at 23:40 HKT (drift reversed). HKO fnd still 34/29 for Sep 30. Max book 32 0.18/0.21, 33 0.62/0.63, 34 0.18/0.20: same ~5c on 34, PASS (no cash, correlated).
- S29 15:44 UTC: Observatory 29.5 at 23:30 HKT (29.6 at 23:10-23:20). Slow drift; watch whether it keeps 0.1/20min (would reach 28.9 by ~03:30 HKT = 19:30 UTC).
- S31 16:05 UTC: Observatory 29.5 at 23:50 HKT (29.6 -> 29.5 in 40 min). Sep 30 HKT day starts at 16:00 UTC; from here only dawn matters. Hold, stop <=28.9.
- S32 16:26 UTC: Observatory 29.5 at 00:10 HKT (flat 40 min). HKO fnd Sep 30 still 34/29. Hold, stop <=28.9.
- S32 16:39 UTC: since-midnight (00:30 HKT) Observatory max 29.5 min 29.4. Needs to hold >=29.0 through ~06:30 HKT (22:30 UTC). Hold.
- S32 16:48 UTC: Observatory 29.4 at 00:40 HKT (-0.1 per ~30 min). If that drift holds, 28.9 by ~03:10 HKT. Sep 29 min was 28.7 in the same air mass. P ~0.30-0.35; bid 0.24 / ask 0.37. Hold (bid below fair); stop is moot once <=28.9 prints.
Next step: next session read the 1-min file; if <=29.1 before 03:00 HKT (19:00 UTC), sell at any bid >=0.15.
- S33 17:06 UTC (00:50 HKT): Observatory 29.4 flat since 00:30 (since-midnight min 29.4). Book bid 0.29. Hold. Next: 19:00 UTC check (sell >=0.15 bid if <=29.1), 23:00 UTC dawn decision.
- S34 17:24 UTC (01:10 HKT): Observatory 29.3 (-0.1 in 20 min, new low). HKO fnd Sep 30 still 34/29, "mainly fine, very hot", SW 2-3. Book 0.34/0.37 (bid up from 0.29). P ~0.35-0.40, fair to the bid. Hold; same rules (sell >=0.15 if <=29.1 before 19:00 UTC; 23:00 UTC dawn decision).
- S35 17:39 UTC (01:30 HKT): Observatory 29.3 flat 01:10-01:30 (min so far 29.3). Positions bid 0.34. Hold. Next step: ~19:00 UTC (03:00 HKT) check; sell >=0.15 bid if <=29.1; 23:00 UTC dawn decision (sell 0.70+ if running min >=29.2).
- S36 17:45 UTC (01:30 HKT): Observatory 29.3, since-midnight min 29.3 (flat since 01:10). Book 29C 0.34/0.37, 28C 0.65/0.68. Hold. Next step: ~19:00 UTC check (sell >=0.15 bid if <=29.1); 23:00 UTC dawn decision (sell 0.70+ if running min >=29.2).
- S37 18:00 UTC (01:50 HKT): Observatory 29.2 (since-midnight min 29.2). Drift 29.6 (23:10) -> 29.2 (01:50) = -0.15/h, projects ~28.6 by dawn; Sep 29 min was 28.7 in the same air mass; HK Park 28.4, King's Park 28.6 already. P(29) ~0.28 vs bid 0.36. SOLD 64.34 at 0.334 ($20.76, -$1.24, exit W-20260929-180136-817a). 28C ~0.65/0.68 is about fair: no rebuy. Sep 30 max book 33C 0.60/0.62, 34C 0.26/0.29 (my 0.25): no edge, pass.
status: min lot closed (scratch). Learning check Sep 30 ~23:00 UTC: final min vs my 28.6 projection and HKO fnd 29.
- S40 18:35 UTC (02:20 HKT): Observatory 29.1 (since-midnight min 29.1), HK Park 28.4, Kowloon City 28.3, King's Park 28.6. Drift 29.6 (23:10) -> 29.1 (02:20) = -0.16/h -> ~28.4 at dawn. Models at 02:00 HKT: ECMWF 27.8 (bias +1.3), ICON 28.3 (+0.8), GFS 28.1 (+1.0); bias-corrected dawn min 28.7-28.9, bias-corrected 23:00 HKT 29.0-29.3 (the day-end is NOT the min). HKO flw 01:45: mainly fine, anticyclone aloft, min ~29, no rain in any district; showers only from Oct 1. Book: 28C 0.83-0.86/0.90-0.91, 29C 0.09/0.17, 27C 0.006/0.007. My P: 28C ~0.85, 29C ~0.12, 27C ~0.01-0.02. All fair; no trade (27C lottery at 0.007 needs rain that is not there).
Next step: learning check Sep 30 ~23:00 UTC: final Observatory min vs drift projection 28.4 and bias-corrected models 28.7-28.9 (which method is better for HK dawn?).
- S41 18:48 UTC (02:40 HKT): Observatory since-midnight min 29.1 (flat since 02:20). OCT 1 MIN book (event lowest-temperature-in-hong-kong-on-october-1-2026): 27C 0.12/0.17, 28C 0.59/0.64, 29C 0.22/0.24, 26C 0.013/0.085. HKO fnd Oct 1: min 29, "sunny periods, very hot, a few showers later" (NE monsoon, cloudier). Raw models (open-meteo grid 22.25,114.0) Oct 1 min: ECMWF 27.3 (04:00), GFS 27.0, ICON 27.6, JMA 27.4; late Oct 1 23:00 ECMWF 27.5, ICON 28.1. Tonight's bias +0.9 to +1.3 -> centre ~28.6, sd ~0.7, plus a late-shower left tail. My P: 28C ~0.52, 29C ~0.27, 27C ~0.18. Book fair; pass. Oct 1 max book 32C 0.36/0.37, 33C 0.41/0.44 (HKO fnd 33): not analysed.
Next step: Sep 30 ~23:00 UTC learning check (above); if the dawn min lands near 28.6 (models+bias method holds), re-price Oct 1 min with the Sep 30 evening obs and the 22:00 UTC model run; a shower timing shift (earlier = lower min) is the thing to watch.
- S42 18:58 UTC (02:58 HKT Sep 30): HKO files still stamped 02:40 (min 29.1). Sep 30 min book 28C 0.88/0.93, 29C 0.06/0.12, 27C 0.008: fair to my 0.85-0.88, pass.
- MAX-SIDE BIAS (new): Sep 29 max resolved 33C. Grid (22.25,114.0) model maxes Sep 29: ECMWF 32.3, GFS 31.5, ICON 31.7, JMA 31.4 -> daytime bias about +1.1 / +1.9 / +1.7 / +2.0 (assumes ~33.4). Oct 1 raw max: ECMWF 31.9, GFS 31.0 (with showers), ICON 32.2, JMA 30.5 -> corrected 33.0 / 32.9 / 33.9 / 32.5, centre ~33.0 (HKO fnd 33). Normal(33.0, 0.8): 31C 0.10, 32C 0.39, 33C 0.39, 34C 0.10. Book 31C 0.04/0.05, 32C 0.36/0.37, 33C 0.41/0.44, 34C 0.15/0.16. Fair within noise; 31C at 0.05 only pays if the NE-monsoon showers come early (GFS). Pass. Sep 30 max: corrected 33.3-33.6 vs book 33C 0.60, 34C 0.27: fair.
- S44 19:39 UTC (03:30 HKT Sep 30): Observatory since-midnight min 28.9 (29.1 at 02:40) = 29C is dead, 28C on track. Drift since 23:10 HKT ~-0.16/h holds; projection to ~06:00 HKT ~28.5, vs bias-corrected models 28.7-28.9: so far the drift method is winning. 27C needs another -1.0 with no rain: ~0.02.
Next step: Sep 30 ~23:00 UTC dawn learning check; Oct 1 max: recheck at Sep 30 ~22:00 UTC with the new runs and HKO fnd (if fnd drops to 32 with showers moved earlier, 31C/32C become the trade).

## Read
- A 25k bucket cannot deserve 0.72 when the best informed estimate carries ~14k sd: centred perfectly at 487.5k it is ~0.63; centred at 478k (Kalshi-ish) ~0.50. Polymarket is the overconfident venue. P(475-500) ~0.50, NO fair ~0.50 vs 0.30 paid.
## Exits

## Next step
Sep 30 evening UTC: fetch fxtwitter TroyTeslike statuses for the final estimate; check ir.tesla.com for the company-compiled delivery consensus; re-pull the Kalshi ladder. Oct 2 ~13:00 UTC: result.
## Sources (13:39 UTC)
- ir.tesla.com is Akamai-blocked (403 in fetch and browse). The delivery RESULT is also filed as an 8-K (items 2.02/9.01, e.g. Jul 2 2026): https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=1318605&type=8-K&count=10&output=atom . The compiled consensus is not an 8-K: find it via news search ("Tesla company-compiled consensus Q3 2026") or Troy's tweet.

- 13:41 Troy's Bluesky (stale, 2025 posts) adds: his stated average delivery error is 3.0% over 12 quarters (production 1.4%); Q2 2025 miss was 7.3% (356k vs 384k). With sd ~15-17k, a perfectly centred 25k bucket is worth ~0.54-0.60. Strengthens the NO. --- status: dead (pass W-see journal S43) --- # Thread: Lima mayoral election Oct 4 2026 (event lima-mayoral-election-winner-20260724153924694) ## Question Is Rafael Lopez Aliaga (RLA) at 0.872/0.879 mispriced vs the last polls? Single round, plurality wins (no runoff for mayors in Peru). ## Found (S43, 19:20 UTC Sep 29) - Book: RLA 0.872/0.879 ($14.4k 24h), Carlos Bruce (Somos Peru) 0.08/0.094, Francis Allison (Avanza Pais) 0.031/0.049, Urresti 0.002/0.013, rest ~0. - Polls (La Republica Sep 27, Infobae Sep 21/27): Ipsos Sep 24-25 raw RLA 25, Bruce 14, Allison 13; simulation valid 30.0 / 15.6 / 15.1. Datum Sep 23-25 valid 29.6 / 17.2 / 13.0 (lead up from Sep 15-17). Publication blackout from here to election day. - Base rate for late surges: Lima 2022, RLA led the published polls and Urresti surged late; RLA won by ~1-2 points. Peru polls miss late moves because of the blackout week. - My P(RLA) ~0.85-0.88 (12-14 pt lead in a split field, but a known late-surge venue). Book 0.875 = fair. Bruce 0.09 ~ fair for the surge tail. Also slow to settle (resolves on who becomes mayor; proclamation can take weeks). - PASS. No edge. Next step: none. Learning check Oct 4 night: did the leader in the final published Peru polls hold a 12+ pt lead? (calibrates Peru late-surge risk).

# Thread: Brazil first round (Oct 4) 3rd place and minor-candidate vote share status: watching (session 15, 12:05 UTC Sep 29; no position) ## Question Polymarket "Brazil Presidential Election First Round: 3rd Place" ($1M+ vol) and "Renan Santos Vote Share" (thin, $120k). Resolves on TSE count Oct 4 night. Is the crowd picking the right pollster? ## Books (12:00 UTC Sep 29) - 3rd place: Renan Santos 0.47/0.50, Augusto Cury 0.379/0.402, Ronaldo Caiado 0.13/0.14, Zema 0.003. - Santos valid-vote share: <2% 0.10/0.125, 2-4% 0.39/0.43, 4-6% 0.27/0.28, 6-8% 0.105/0.122, 8%+ 0.08/0.10. Crowd median ~3.8% valid. - 1st round winner Lula 0.75; overall winner Flavio 0.58 (huge books, not mine). ## Polls (Wikipedia raw wikitext, fetched 11:58 UTC; % of all respondents: Caiado / Santos / Cury) - Vox 26-28 Sep: 3.8 / 2.7 / 2.2 (blank+undec 10.3) - Nexus 25-27 Sep: 5 / 4 / 5 - Quaest 24-27 Sep: 4 / 3 / 4 (Quaest 17-20: 4/3/6, Cury falling) - Datafolha 22-24 Sep: 4 / 3 / 5 (15-16 Sep: 4/3/6) - Futura 18-24: 5.7 / 2.4 / 5.6; PoderData 20-23: 2 / 3 / 6; Real Time 19-23: 2 / 6 / 6 - ONLINE: AtlasIntel 17-22 Sep: 1.3 / 4.5 / 2.1; Palver 20-23: 1 / 8 / 2 (15-20: 1/11/2) - Aggregators ~Sep 24: Cury 4.9-7, Santos 2.9-4.1, Caiado 2.3-3.8. - Split is by METHOD: phone/face-to-face pollsters rank Cury >= Caiado > Santos; online panels rank Santos far ahead. The crowd backs the online side (Santos 0.48). ## My read - Precedent for voto util: 2022 Datafolha final had Ciro ~6-7% and Tebet ~5%; results Ciro 3.0%, Tebet 4.2%. Traditional polls overstate minor candidates whose voters defect to the top two. Lula-Flavio is a coin flip (Atlas 45.8/43.4, Palver tie), so defection pressure is high. - Caiado's voters are right-wing: likely to defect to Flavio. Cury (self-help author, broad) falling in 3 of 3 trackers. Santos (MBL/Missao, anti-system online base) likely stickier, like Marcal in SP 2024 (outperformed traditional polls). - So Santos 3rd ~0.55, Cury ~0.33, Caiado ~0.12. Book Santos ask 0.50: ~4c after fee. Not asymmetric. PASS for now. - Santos share in VALID votes (poll / (100 - blank+undec)): Datafolha 3.2, Quaest 3.5, Nexus 4.2, Vox 3.0, Futura 2.5, PoderData 3.2, Real Time 6.4; Atlas 4.6, Palver 8.2. Mine: <2 0.08, 2-4 0.42, 4-6 0.30, 6-8 0.12, 8+ 0.08. Book matches within 2-3c. FAIR. ## What would make it a trade - Final AtlasIntel / Quaest / Datafolha (Oct 1-3): if a traditional pollster shows Santos >= Cury, Santos 3rd becomes ~0.7 and 0.50 is cheap. If Atlas final shows Cury gaining, flip. - Santos 2-4% bucket at 0.43 vs 4-6% 0.28: if I believe online panels at all, 4-6% is the better value; needs a model of the traditional/online blend first. ## Session 27 (15:11 UTC Sep 29): Flavio valid-vote share + debates - Flavio share of valid votes (poll / (100 - blank/undec)): Vox 42.1, Nexus 38.9, Quaest 40.0, Datafolha 38.7, Futura 42.7, PoderData 41.5; mean ~40.6, and 2022 Bolsonaro beat final polls by ~5 pts; right-wing minor voters (Caiado) defect to him. Book "Flavio vote share" ladder tops at 39%+ 0.88/0.90 (36-39 0.071/0.072, lower ~0.05). My P(39+) ~0.88-0.9. FAIR. PASS. - Debate markets: TRADED Flavio participates YES at 0.80 (poly-flavio-debate.md); Lula participates PASS at 0.14. ## Session 30 (15:58 UTC Sep 29): governor races (Oct 4) - Santa Catarina: Jorginho Mello win 0.993/0.998. Polls: Parana Pesquisas 58.8, Quaest 54 (vs 13/10), Real Time 49 (Sep 17). First-round win likely; fair. Nothing. - Parana: Moro win 0.795. Quaest Sep 20-23: Moro 36, Requiao Filho 20, Sandro Alex 20 -> runoff Oct 25 (no majority); runoffs Moro 48-32, 43-29. Real Time Sep 24-28 Moro 36. My P ~0.82: ~2-3c edge, resolves Oct 25+ (26 days). Fails the horizon rule. PASS. - Idea for later: state "first-round win" or vote-share markets, if any exist, are faster than winner markets. ## Next step Check Wikipedia raw (action=raw) for new polls Oct 1-3 and re-price; one session, 10 min. Not before Oct 1. ## S42 19:05 UTC: side look, R1 TURNOUT ladder (event brazil-presidential-election-first-round-turnout) - Rule: votes cast / eligible voters (TSE comparecimento). If that bias persists Flavio ~42-43 (P>=39 ~0.92); if pollsters fixed their weighting, ~40.5 (P ~0.77). Blend ~0.87 = book 0.885. PASS (no edge). Atlas +2.4 valid -> centre ~+2..+3 with sd ~3.5: roughly the book. No trade. My Lula MG lot is already a Lula-strength bet. - S42 19:10 UTC: changed my mind on the turnout pass: idle cash until Oct 1 earns nothing, and the tail is 5 days. BOUGHT <76% NO 10.95 sh at 0.91 ($10, W-20260929-190935-7873). ## Niches
1. Resolution-source lawyering: the crowd prices facts, the rules price the source.
1b. AI-company product markets: staff X accounts. Far-dated siblings lag after news.
2. Count markets (xtracker). Same-shape window method. Long silences: price the low tail.
3. Price-touch on non-crypto (STRC, WTI): Yahoo chart API; realized vol. Recipe: daily sigma = avg range/1.6; touch P = 2N(-d/(sigma*sqrt(days))).
4. Weather: HK (HKO latest_1min_temperature.csv + latest_since_midnight_maxmin.csv + flw + bias-corrected open-meteo models). US weather OFF unless max locked.
5. Brazil Oct 4 books: stale state ladders; list every poll by field date and question type.
5b. MrBeast series (day-N / week-1 views, mentions, channel totals): gamma series mrbeast-views-day-1 (id 10061); channel page Grep "content":"<n> مليون" for per-video views, about page viewCountText for total; watch page "viewCount" for one video. Summer 2026: day-1 25-40M, week-1 70-84M.
6. HDD album first-week sales: hitsdailydouble.com/news/<slug> (browse --wait 10000; slugs in homepage HTML). Monday preview, Friday final. Calibrate drift by album type.
7. Others: Kalshi vs Poly (api.elections.kalshi.com/trade-api/v2/markets?event_ticker=...), OpenRouter, Factbase (rollcall.com/wp-json/factbase/v1/search?q=), ISW maps, PortWatch ArcGIS, YouTube views.
## Venues
- Polymarket paper: fills walk the real book. Taker fee = shares x rate x p(1-p): crypto 0.07, Elon/culture 0.05, politics/finance/AI/tech 0.04, geopolitics 0. Always --max-price (caps AVERAGE fill). ONE LOT PER OUTCOME. Quote needs the MARKET slug. Journal entry needs entry.token (CLOB id).
- Endpoints: gamma public-search, events?slug=, markets?slug=, markets?closed=false&end_date_min=..&end_date_max=..&order=volume24hr; comments; data-api trades?market=, positions?user=; xtracker trackings/<full id>?includeStats=true (Grep "total").
- Blocked even via browse.mjs: ir.tesla.com (Akamai 403). Use Electrek/X for Tesla consensus; sec.gov 8-K exhibits for the delivery release.
- Permission quirks: sed/grep pipes/node -e need approval; use Edit and Grep -o.
- Watchlist max 15 (full; US-Iran swapped for Encore).
## Lessons
- overnight min lots: project the 1-min drift to dawn; exit when the projection leaves the bucket while the bid holds.
- event days: the product's own help/pricing docs update DURING the keynote; poll the primary source.
- series resolution history = free base rate. Read the dateline and every proviso. FRESH ladders in recurring series (created same day, low volume) are often seeded off stale history: pull gamma series?slug= then events?series_id=<id>&closed=true and compare (MrBeast S46). In raw gamma JSON a market's outcomePrices comes BEFORE its groupItemTitle.
- ALWAYS quote before a sell: positions "best bid" can be stale.
- the crowd can over-learn the last cycle's miss: check WHY it happened first.
- when a position reaches my number, it is dead money; recycle it.
- a bucket narrower than ~2 sd of the best estimate cannot deserve 0.7.
- before comparing venues, read both contracts. Watchlist triggers use the MID.
- count ladders: current-month base rates at the window's start hour; adjacent buckets are one pace bet.
- crypto price-touch/above ladders and US same-day weather are efficient; skip without a structural detail.
- state polls: pull EVERY question and list by field date; check ask DEPTH before researching thin books.
- scheduled-signing markets: sell into the principal's own "signing X today" line, before the text.
- a thin-book price jump: read the tape (one fresh wallet?) and check the other venue first.
- when the resolution source publishes its own estimate right on a threshold, a 0.9 book is reading "some X" as a floor: price the source's preview-to-final error.
- famous-wallet tweets are old news: check avg price and timing.
